INTENSIVE CARE UNIT ?

The ICU is staffed and equipped to provide quality care to adults and children who are seriously ill or who have required major surgery. The beds in the department are used flexibly according to patient dependency. High dependency patients are often grouped together and allocated a nurse on a 2:1 ratio whilst intensive care patients are allocated one nurse per patient.

Our aim is to provide the best possible care to all our patients, their relatives and visitors. The care given takes account of religious beliefs and cultural differences.

Our Standards-A comprehensive range of specialities on one site at IOH Hospital with some of the best imaging facilities in Nigeria, including three MRI scanners and four CT scanners.We have dedicated,highly qualified staff experienced in a wide range of specialities.
