Radiology department ?
The imaging department (radiology) offers a world-class range of diagnostic and interventional imaging services for both in-patients and out-patients.
We see patients from GP surgeries, hospital clinics, in-patient wards and from the accident & emergency department. We also see many specialised referrals from other hospitals and clinics across the UK.
The radiology team consists of consultant radiologists, specialist radiology registrars, radiographers, ultrasonographers, radiology nurses, radiology department assistants, medical secretaries, receptionists, clerical staff and porters.

- fluoroscopic imaging e.g. barium studies

- vascular imaging & Intervention e.g. biopsies and stent implantation
- general ultrasound
- nuclear medicine
- obstetric & gynaecological ultrasound
- paediatric imaging
- breast imaging/mammography (breast unit 1st floor)
